We ensure that all of our children have a smooth transition from Dorrington Academy to their chosen secondary school.
We work to ensure that all secondary schools have the relevant documentation. We encourage secondary school transition teachers to visit Year 6.
We arrange for one-to-one consultations with the appropriate personnel from each secondary school when we need to discuss confidential safeguarding issues.
We archive all records in line with the local authority guidance.
