Outdoor Education

General Information

Children are taught once a week in our outdoor learning environment, we ask that children come to these sessions in appropriate outdoor clothing, which can be left in school during term time. It is suggested that children have with them a waterproof coat and sensible footwear appropriate for outdoor use i.e. boots or wellingtons.

During these sessions children will learn a variety of new skills ranging from identification of living creatures and plants, through to a variety of practical scientific investigations.

All children at Dorrington will have a lesson outside in the area each week.
